I’m Committed To Your Welfare, Uzodimma Assures Imo Workers

The Imo State Governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma has reiterated his administration’s commitment to the welfare and dignity of Imo State workers.

Governor Uzodimma in his address at Ndubuisi Kanu Square for the Imo Workers Day commended the National Labour Congress Imo State Chapter for their support to workers and his administration’s sincere intentions to them.

The Governor disclosed that the NLC Imo Chapter adopting him as their candidate for the November 11th gubernatorial election is indeed the mother of all endorsements.

The Governor reassured them that even with the lean resources of the State, imo workers will continue to earn their wages and as when due.

He further disclosed that he has already approved the full payment of check-off dues for pensioners and industrial workers owed since 2007.

He stated that Imo workers have no problem with State Government and maintained that the Industrial harmony in State is second to none.

The Governor advised Imo workers to avoid bad influence from external forces seeking to destabilize their welfare and dignity as there is no welfare issue the Shared Prosperity Government has not settled.
