Big Brother Naija housemates were excited to welcome one of Nollywood’s ‘biggies’, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde AKA Omosexy.
The actress welcomed them with a surprise ‘One’ customized T-shirts in the store room, they happily received it before she handed them a little pamphlet on her ‘One’ ambassadorial Poverty Sexist position.
Omosexy Talks Women Empowerment
She read a note on women empowerment which was an eye-opener to her visitation goal in the house.
Omotola explained to the housemates her role as a Poverty Sexist ambassador, which particularly added flesh to the note that she read earlier to them about the importance of empowering women in the society.
The actress went down memory lane about growing up in a family of five, she said that she “lost her father at the age of 12”.
The actress said as the first child to two younger siblings who were guys and as an only daughter it was “difficult” for her. Adding that “she immediately had to assume the role of a father and mother” for her two younger siblings.
She told them that for them to be a part of the current Big Brother Naija 2017 edition, they are all ambassadors and urged them to advocate for the right things in the society.

Uriel Nods To Omosexy’s Admonition
Uriel mentioned that she’s a “first daughter and an only daughter” like the actress and she has ”four other siblings.”
Bisola said “I am the first daughter” and also said that her father left her mother when she was three, explaining that it wasn’t easy for her as she had to bear a lot of burdens growing up.
Marvis also shared her experience about her mother leaving her and her other eight siblings when she was about two years old.
She explained further that her elder sister who was still in school at that time, “had to take care of us,” shuffling school and the house, they saw her as a mother figure and didn’t know what to call her.
‘Mental Happiness’
Omosexy gave a final advise that they should always try and maintain a permanent state of mental happiness and learn to prioritize whatever it is they want to do.
She advised the men to allow their women grow, “Don’t be afraid of a powerful woman, the more powerful she is, her husband would be even more powerful”.
The visitation was felt in the house as the female housemates interacted more, Kemen however talked about his planned NGO and that he would like to meet with her after the show.
Omosexy joins the list of guest celebrities to visit the Big Brother Naija house.
