Google Advocates Creative Content On Social Media

The importance of producing original content has, once again, been emphasised.
This time, it is coming from the world’s leading search engine website, Google.
The company’s Communications and Public Affairs Manager for Anglophone West Africa, Taiwo Kola-Ogunlade, has advised Nigerian youths to be content creators.
Content creation creates far-reaching exposure
Kola-Ogunlade believes that when content creation is taking seriously, far-reaching exposure naturally sets in.
He stated that folks are now ‘migrating’ to their phones and laptop to watch shows, news and even learn how to cook.
“YouTube brings together some of the creative contents from Nigerians across the globe.
“From comedy to motivational talks, so many Nigerian content creators offer you full value for your time.
“ Simply open your YouTube and enjoy the amazing contents on Nigeria by Nigerians for Nigerians.
“Whether you want to learn how to sew or cook or simply laugh away the stress, simply open your YouTube and subscribe to one of the many Nigerians with content just for you,” he said.
Original content stimulates income
The Google public affairs manager then informed that when contents attract high traffic, a gateway to generating income has opened.
Kola-Ogunlade then listed seven of Nigeria’s top content creators on YouTube for public viewing pleasure. He mentioned Channels Television – news served hot, MarkAngel Comedy – versions of comic episodes.
Also listed are TokeMoments – Inspiring words and life tips from Toke Makinwa; Nollywood Channel – IbakaTV/Nollywood; and Nigeriacuisine – How to make different Nigerian foods.
Others include Battabox – Street gist, video features, talk shows and reality shows, Sisi Yemmie – Lifestyle.
He urged users to log onto: https://www.youtube.com/user/ for their viewing.
