God Delivered Me When Amosun Dragged Me To EFCC – Gbenga Daniel

Gbenga Daniel, the former Governor of Ogun State, has revealed that he believes divine intervention played a crucial role in his deliverance during the period when his successor, Ibikunle Amosun, took him to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Expressing his disappointment, the Senator-elect for Ogun-East emphasized the irony of being dragged to the EFCC by someone he considered a friend.

Daniel disclosed this on Arise TV, saying, “Amosun has long been my friend. He was one of the people who actually harassed me when I was out of government. Amosun took me to EFCC but God delivered me.

“But, at a stage in your life, you sit down and begin to ask: what is it all about? I then came to the conclusion that there is no need for these wars.”

On issues with Governor Dapo Abiodun, Daniel said, “I’ve resolved issues with everybody. There are no personal issues.”
