Election Moves Ezeji’s Testimonial To Dec. 17

Victor Ezeji’s testimonial will now take place on 17 December in Port Harcourt, the organisers have announced.

The former Enyimba and Sharks FC striker announced his retirement from football at the end of the 2014/2015 NPFL season.

Chairman of the Main Organising Committee China Acheru said the testimonial was moved from December 10 due to the legislative re-run elections fixed for the same day in Rivers State.

“We are forced to alter our plans following INEC’s announcement of December 10 for the re-run legislative elections which coincided with the testimonial.

“We have decided to reschedule the Victor Ezeji’s Testimonial to hold on 17 December.

“The change in date will not affect the spirit and mood of the event as we will ensure a spectacular showing on the new date,” he assured.
