Reuben Abati Has Been Released – EFCC

Former Presidential Spokesperson, Reuben Abati has been released by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Concise News gathers.
The anti-graft agency’s spokesperson, Mr Wilson Uwujaren, told the News Agency of Nigeria in Abuja that the former Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan was released to a surety without further conditions.
This is a new development on the last report Concise obtained about EFCC’s releases today Saturday. It was earlier reported that EFCC released Obanikoro while holding on to Abati.
Concise News learnt that Abati’s bail conditions include submission of his international passport to EFCC and producing a surety, who should not be below a deputy director on Level 16 in the civil service of the country.
The ex-presidential aide turned himself to the EFCC on October 21 after he was accused of receiving N50 million from detained former National Security Adviser, retired Col. Sambo Dasuki.
