Economic Hardship: Abiodun Promises Relief for Nigerians

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has said that the tripartite economic advisory committee created by President Bola Tinubu is working towards ending the current economic challenges in the country.

Abiodun said this in a post on X following a meeting with President Tinubu at the State House in Abuja on Monday.

The meeting was also attended by Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State, Dangote Group boss Aliko Dangote, BUA boss Abdul Rbaiu, UBA chairman Tony Elumelu, amongst others.

According to Abiodun, “As a governor and member of the tripartite economic advisory committee created by our dear President, @officialABAT, GCFR, I can promise you that everyone is working together to support the president in providing the help needed during these difficult times.

“We have all agreed to unite and assist in implementing the fiscal and monetary policies already established.

“In our state, we are taking action by bringing in affordable rice and other food items to help alleviate the economic strain on our citizens. We are committed to ensuring that prices come down and remain stable until the effects of these policies are seen.

“Together, we will work to bring relief to those in need until we begin to see positive results from our efforts.”
