Dollar to Hit N2,000 by Christmas – Bwala

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Daniel Bwala, has said that a dollar will sell for N2,000 by Christmas due to the state of Nigeria’s economy.
Concise News can report that a dollar can be bought at the black market for N1,225 as of the time of filing this report. The past few days have seen a sharp declining in the value of the naira against the dollar.
In a post on X, Bwala wondered why no miracle has been performed by the newly appointed Minister of Finance and the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria concerning the weakening economy.
He shared, “The way the economy is sinking, if serious care is not taking , by Christmas the dollar would sell for N2000. Everything rises and falls on the naira value.
“Where are the Wale Edun and Yemi Cardoso of this world that they told us one will walk on waters and the other would turn water to wine.
Big big grammar, but no single sign of light at the end of the tunnel.”
In another post, Bwala lamented that the current administration led by President Bola Tinubu currently has the largest cabinet amongst others in Nigeria’s history.
He said, “Largest cabinet in the world, but only one minister is working; Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, minister of interior.
“Largest cabinet since the inception of the Republic; Bloated government since the return of democracy; Largest media aids to the point of superimposition of roles; @officialABAT arguably influenced the media careers of 60 percent of journalists in the country, 40 percent of human right advocates and CSO founders; heck he even owns a TV house and a newspaper company; YET the optics aren’t good and the narrative can’t be changed. Do you know why? No leader can move a country that he is not consciously working towards unifying and to give everybody a sense of belonging. The nepotism is ultra high and pro max.”
