U-17 W/Cup: See Golden Eaglets Of Nigeria’s Fixtures In Brazil
The 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup will start this weekend in Brazil with the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria taking on Hungary in their first fixture.
Nigeria have won the competition for a record five times with the last coming in 2015 parading Lille goal poacher Victor Osimhen.
The Golden Eaglets are in Group B of the cadet with not just Hungary but Ecuador and Australia.
Concise News had earlier reported that the FIFA U-17 World Cup will start on Saturday, 22nd October 2019.
After the clash against Ecuador, Nigeria’s next match at the U-17 World Cup will be against Brazil.

Meanwhile, Golden Eaglets coach Manu Garba has said Nigeria is at the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Brazil to win it.
Speaking ahead of the competition which begins, Saturday, Garba said his boys are ready for the cadet tournament.
“Everyone should get ready to see a fantastic Nigerian team that play great football and have the trophy in their sights,” Garba told FIFA.com.
“Ecuador, Hungary and Australia are undoubtedly strong teams that we respect, but we are record-breaking world champions and I was involved in two of our title wins.”

He added that “The will to win every game is part of the DNA of every Nigerian team, and my team here in Brazil is no exception.”
