Premier League leaders Chelsea overpowered Bournemouth 3-0 at Stamford Bridge to maintain a healthy lead at the top of the standings.

Pedro Rodriguez scored twice, while Eden Hazard put away a spot kick to see the Blues walk majestically to a comfortable win, their 12th on the trot.

Meanwhile, Arsenal climbed to third after a hard-earned 1-0 win over stubborn West Brom at Emirates stadium.

It was Olivier Giroud’s 87th minute strike that separated both sides.

Manchester United, in the meantime, recorded a resounding 3-1 victory over Sunderland.

Daley Blind, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Henrik Mkhitaryan ensured three points for Jose Mourinho’s Red Devils.

Fabio Borini pulled one back for the Black Cats. But it was too late for a comeback for David Moyes, who was back at Old Trafford.

The poor run of champions Leicester City continued with a 2-0 defeat by Everton. Kevin Mirallas opened scoring for the Toffees in the 51st minute, before star man Romelo Lukaku sealed off the game with a goal at the death.

More to come.
