Cardi B Breaks Lauryn Hill’s Billboard Records

American rapper Cardi B has broken Lauryn Hill’s record of the longest running female rapper to top the Billboard chart with no features.
Cardi B’s hit and debut song ‘Bodak Yellow’, which earned her several awards at the 2017 BET hip hop awards, has topped the chart for three straight weeks.
Bodak Yellow has now tied with multiple award winning artiste Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” as the longest running female at the number one spot on the charts in 2017.
