President Buhari To Present 2018 Budget Nov 7

President Muhammadu Buhari will on Tuesday present the 2018 Appropriation Bill before a joint session of the National Assembly.

This was disclosed in a letter read during Thursday’s plenary session by  the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara.

Buhari, in the letter, requested the indulgence of the two chambers of the National Assembly to allow him present the budget at 2.pm on November 7.

Shouts Of ‘No! No!! No!!!’ rented the air after Dogara read the President’s letter.

The Speaker, however, reminded the lawmakers that they do not have constitutional powers to reject the presentation of the budget proposal.
