Buhari Phones Nigeria Again, Condoles Adamu Fika

President Mohammadu Buhari has called to condole with Dr Adamu Fika over the death of his wife, Tasallah Fika, barely 24 hours after his phone call with US President Donald Trump.

This was contained in a press release made available by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, on Tuesday.

The President expressed sadness over the death of Tasallah Fika, the wife of the former Head of Civil Service of the Federation.

Garba Shehu said President Buhari told Adamu Fika, that the loss of a devoted wife of many years was particularly a painful and challenging moment in the life of any husband.

Buhari explained that he understood the depth of pain Dr Fika was going through at the time ”having lost a great and invaluable companion of many years.”

He also noted ”that the deceased was one of the most devoted wives who was the pride of the nuclear family”.

Buhari wished Dr Fika the fortitude to bear the enormous loss, while also praying that Allah grants the deceased eternal rest.
