Buhari, Tinubu, Oyegun To Spearhead APC Campaign In Akure

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State said on Saturday that President Muhammad Buhari would launch the campaign rally of its governorship candidate, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu.

This was announced in a statement signed by the party’s State Publicity Secretary, Omo’ba Abayomi Adesanya. The party also fixed Thursday, November 3 for the launch of the campaign, according to the statement.

Other APC big wigs to show up for Akeredolu

Adesanya added that VP Osinbajo, National Chairman of the party, John Oyegun, and also Asiwaju Tinubu will be in attendance. The Senate President, Speaker of the House of Representatives as well as all the APC state governors will also be present.

The statement also reveals the inauguration of a 30-man local organising committee for the campaign. The committee is chaired by Mr Agboola Ajayi.
