Buhari Condoles With U.S. Over Bush’s Death

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday condoled with the government and people of the United States over the passing of former President George Bush.

The President in a statement by his Media aide Femi Adesina, described Bush as a leader who lived a life of service to his country and humanity.

He extended his condolences to the family of the 41st U.S. President and all political associates of the great leader whose legacies continue to inspire and attract encomiums across the world.

The President believes the passing of Bush is a loss not just to America but the entire world, especially the many people he inspired.

Buhari extolled the former president’s love for his family and country, saying it has remained legendary as clearly seen in the way his children have taken up leadership roles and were steadily breeding a new generation of great thinkers and leaders.

He prayed for God’s comfort on the mourning nation, the family of the nonagenarian, and a peaceful rest for his soul.
