Boboye, Odey Win January League Bloggers Award

Stephen Odey (MFM FC) and Plateau United coach, Kennedy Boboye have been named the winners of the League Bloggers Awards (LBA) January Player and Manager of the month in the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
The duo won the individual awards due to their impressive performances so far.
Boboye led Plateau United through the games in January without losing any. Taking 13 points from the available 15 (W4D1) to finish the month as league leaders.
He beat Fidelis Ilechukwu (MFM FC), Gbenga Ogunbote (Enyimba) and Henry Makinwa (ABS FC) to the award.
This is Boboye’s second win in the manager’s category after winning the inaugural edition of the award last season as the manager of Abia Warriors.
MFM FC forward, Stephen Odey, brushed aside the challenge of his teammate Olatunbosun Sikiru, Kabiru Umar (Plateau United) and Olufemi Thomas (Rivers United) to win the January LBA Player of the month.
Odey averaged a goal per game as he scored 4 goals in 4 games played by the church-owned team in the month of January. Added to these, he provided an assist, putting him way ahead of the others in his category.
