Berlin Attack Suspect Amri Killed In Milan

The suspected attacker of the Christmas market in Berlin Anis Amri has been shot dead by police in Milan, that is according to Italy’s interior minister, Marco Minetti.

Amri was reported to have opened fire on police who asked him for ID during a routine patrol in the Sesto San Giovanni area in the early hours of Friday.

Minetti said he was “without a shadow of a doubt” Anis Amri.

One police officer was said to have been injured in the shootout.

Germany had fortified its security since the attack, which claimed 12 lives and injured 49.
