Benue Governorship Election: Ortom Speaks After Voting

Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has expressed optimism that he will win the governorship election of Saturday, March 9, 2019.

Concise News understands that Ortom gave the assurance on Saturday after casting his vote during the governorship and House of Assembly election in Benue State.

Ortom voted at the Government Secondary School Gbajimba, Polling Unit 003, Tsofon Kasuwa, Nzoro ward of Guma Local Government Area.

According to him, he will win the election even though “victory is from God.”

He added that people are ready to cast their votes and that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has done massive mobilization and people and coming to vote the party.

Also, he lauded the Independent National Electoral Commission (Inec) for speeding up the process and the early delivery of sensitive materials for the voting exercise.

In addition, he lamented the killings that trailed the exercise and expressed optimism that security agents will tackle the situation even though the security men are inadequate.
