#FreeAudu: Audu Maikori Released 24 Hours After Arrest

Chocolate City CEO, Audu Maikori, who was arrested on Friday by security agents in Lagos and allegedly whisked away to Abuja has been released from police detention.
His release was announced by the business development manager of Chocolate City, Edward Ayide-Israel, on Twitter.
Edward thanked everyone that agitated for the release of Maikori. He writes, “Thanks everyone for #FreeAudu. He’s been released. Thanks everyone for your advocacy to #FreeAudu He’s out now. God bless you.
“We owe the release of @Audu to the good work of his lawyer Barr. Mark Jacob and your unending calls to #FreeAudu Great job guys.”
