Atiku, Bala Mohammed Reconcile

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has reconciled with the Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed.

This was disclosed by Atiku in a post on social media days after Mohammed demanded an apology from him.

Mohammed had accused Atiku of snubbing him after winning the PDP presidential primary election.

The Bauchi governor also said Atiku was trying to soil his ambition in his state.

Taking to his verified Facebook page on Wednesday after the meeting, Atiku wrote: “Last night I hosted some of the leaders of our great party, the PDP, in Abuja. We discussed the state of our party and nation and recommitted ourselves to the patriotic task to recover and restore Nigeria for the good of all. -AA.”

Mohammed also tweeted, “Today, I led a delegation of Bauchi state stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to Abuja on a courtesy visit to the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar. Key to our discussion were issues relating to the progress of our great party,”
