Chidinma Okeke’s Critics Right About Her Desire For Fame?
The outgoing Miss Anambra, Chidinma Okeke, was a top trending issue on Google search this week. She trended not for winning another beauty pageant, but for a leaked sex video that went viral.
According to a statement by Mr Taiwo Kola-Ogunlade, Google’s Communications and Public Affairs Manager, Anglophone West Africa, the issue was trending from October 19 to October 26.
Many Nigerians are of the opinion that Chidinma did the video because of her desire for quick fame. Since the video leak, Nigerians on social media have descended heavily on her for descending so low to lesbianism just for fame.
Kola-Ogunlade said that in the entertainment industry, the internet showed how #Beauty Queen became a trending hashtag.
“The viral video unveiled a beauty queen’s sexual preference and drew people’s attention, he said.
Chidinma denies her involvement in sex tape
The beauty queen, however, went on her social media pages to deny the video.
She explained that her face was superimposed on an existing picture. She claim it was an attempt by hoodlums to blackmail her.
