APC Women Donate N20m, Others To Benue Flood Victims
The APC Women Presidential Campaign Team yesterday donated 20 million Naira and relief items to flood victims in Benue State.
The delegation, which was led by the Chairman, H.E. Senator Oluremi Tinubu, also had the co-Chair, H.E. Hajiya Nana Shettima, HE Dr. Regina Akume, HE Mrs. Matawalle, Dr. Asabe Vilita Bashir, the national coordinator of the women’s campaign team; Hon. Alawiye-King, chairman of the Admin and Strategy committees, and Mrs. Kwapchi Bata Dibal, member of the media committee.
The first port of call was the Benue State Government House, where a cash donation of 10 million was made and relief items sent by the grand patron of the women’s campaign team, HE Dr. Aisha Buhari, were presented to the First Lady of Benue State, HE Mrs. Eunice Ortom.
The money is to support 200 flood victims with business grants of N50,000 each.
Thereafter, the delegation was received by APC stalwarts led by the guber candidate, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, where they further commiserated with the people and made an additional donation of N10m to relief efforts.
