APC Sets Up Convention Committee

The All Progressives Congress on Sunday in Abuja made known a list of 68-man committee to plan its National Convention.

Concise News gathered that the committee is being chaired by the Governor of Jigawa State, Abubakar Badaru.

Governor of Ondo state Rotimi Akeredolu will be his deputy just as Senator Ben Uwajomogu was named as Secretary.

Other members of the committee are: governors Rochas Okorocha (Imo), Kashim Shettima (Borno), Aminu Masari (Katsina), Abiola Ajimobi (Oyo), Ibrahim Gaidam (Yobe) and Ahmed El-Rufai (Kaduna).

The rest include:  Simeon Lalong (Plateau), Bindo Jibrila (Adamawa), Yahaya Bello (Kogi ) and Godwin Obaseki (Edo).

Also making the list is forner President of the Senate Ken Nnamani.

furthermore, the committee has the following Senators: Ahmed Yerima, Adamu Aliero, Danjuma Goje, Abdullahi Adamu, George Akume, suspended Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, Andrew Uchendu, Abdullahi Danbaba, Baba Kuka and John Enoh.

Chris Ngige (Labour and Productivity) and Mr Uguru Usani (Niger Delta), both ministers, also made the cut.
