The National Chairman of the Action Democratic Party (ADP), Yabaji Yusuf Sani, has claimed that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is only paying lip-service to the fight against graft.

The chairman of ADP made this known on Thursday in Abuja at the third National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the party.

He urged President Muhammadu Buhari to release the reports of the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo-led probe panel on the N40 billion cash found in Lagos and the case of the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir David Lawal.

Sani questioned the sincerity of the APC-led federal government on the controversy that trailed the management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

He said the party which was established in June this year would not only offer credible alternative but also improve on its presence in almost all the States of the federation.

Sani said: “I wish to draw the attention of the NEC to our manifesto where party has clearly indicated its interest to embark on Economic Development Plans, which would encompass restructuring, fiscal federalism, and devolution of powers to fast-track effort toward poverty alleviation at the grassroots, especially Polling Units.

”In view of the current socioeconomic challenges confronting the nation, I urge the youth to rise to the occasion, change the narratives, push for new frontiers and challenge the leadership and the status quo by joining the credible alternative, the ADP.”
