The deputy governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress in Anambra, Dozie Ikedife Jnr, has berated the All Progressives Grand Alliance for using the name of late Igbo leader Chukwuemeka Ojukwu for its campaign.
Ikedife, who spoke with journalists in Nnewi, said over 90 percent of Governor Willie Obiano’s achievements were only on billboards, pages of newspapers and electronic media with nothing concrete to show for them.
He called on Anambra electorates to avoid sentiment when voting during the election, adding that the current APGA government in the state was a disaster.
He queried how a party that its presence could not be felt beyond the River Niger or other boundaries of Anambra should be ideal for the Igbo or claimed to be for the interest of the Anambra people and Ndigbo.
He maintained that Ndigbo should reconnect to the centre for maximum benefits of democracy.
The governorship running mate added that it was the reason the people were still crying of marginalisation when the easy thing to do would have been to connect to the party at the centre.
