Andy Uba Officially Defects To APC

Senator Andy Uba, on Tuesday, officially defected to the All Progressives’ Congress (APC).

This was announced on the floor of the Senate, by Senate President Bukola Saraki, during Tuesday’s plenary session.

Uba, on Feb. 1, had first disclosed his defection at a briefing of newsmen in his country home in Uga, Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The senator said he was defecting to the APC because of the ideology and focus of the party which he needed to make use of.

He also said personalities like the Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige and George Muoghalu, the National Auditor of APC, made him join the party.
