Carlos Ancelotti has said he looks forward to the Champions League clash between Real Madrid and Liverpool.
Madrid which he manages got to the final after beating Manchester City in the second leg of the semifinal at home 3-1. The first leg in England ended 4-3 in City’s favour.
The final will be the fifth Ancelotti will coach. He had left the job at Everton to join Madrid in the summer.
The final will be his hird against Liverpool, having lost the first against the club and winning the second.
“I’m very happy to play another final, against a great team, Liverpool,” Ancelotti said.
“I played against Liverpool as a player in 1984 [in the European Cup final] and then [as coach] in 2005, 2007 and again now. I lived in Liverpool for two years. For me it’s a derby, I’m still an Evertonian.”
