Akeredolu Makes Courtesy Call To Gov. Mimiko

Ondo State governor elect, Rotimi Akeredolu, on Wednesday made a courtesy call on outgoing Ondo State governor, Olusegun Mimiko at the Alagbaka governors lodge, Akure.

The governor elect was accompanied to the governor’s office by the State Deputy Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr. Ade Adetimehin, Director-General of Akeredolu Campaign Platform, Hon. Victor Olabimtan, Tunji Abayomi, Femi Agagu, Yemi Olowolabi, Lekan Odere, Wale Akinterinwa, Saka Yusuf and Ifedayo Abegunde.

During the courtesy visit, Rotimi Akeredolu commended the achievements of Mimiko, saying it will take years of hard work to surpass the track laid down by the incumbent.

The governor-elect said that Mimiko must be commended for the years he has put into public service as two-term commissioner for health, secretary to the state government, minister of housing and urban planning and then as a governor.

The governor-lect said that he and the people of Ondo State owe Gov Mimiko depth of gratitude for his service to Ondo state and the country at large. He noted that Mimiko has displayed exemplary leadership qualities in every capacity he has served and showered praises on him.

In his response, Gov. Mimiko promised to put in place seamless transition to usher in a new government come February next year.
