Ahmed Musa Vows To Fight For Leicester Future

Ahmed Musa has vowed to fight for his future at Leicester City after struggling to make an immediate impact.

Musa made a then record transfer of £18m to the Foxes CSKA Moscow during the summer but has found it difficult to impress. The Nigerian forward has been yet to reignite the form in Russia. He has been reduced to a backup featuring mostly off the bench for the Premier League Champions.

He expressed his wishes to fight for a first-team shirt at Leicester even though he did not get off to a flying start in England.

“I will prove I can make the difference at Leicester. This is a new team for me, unlike most of the other players in the team and so it will take me some time to fit in but I believe I will soon be commanding a first-team place.”

Musa was missing from the Foxes 1-0 win over FC Kobenhavn in the Champions League last night.

The 24-year-old  has made five appearances for Leicester in the league, three coming on as a substitute and he has yet to score a goal. He also started from the bench in the Super Eagles 2-1 world cup qualifier against Zambia earlier this month

CSKA Could Re-Sign Ahmed Musa

There has been widespread speculation that Ahmed Musa could well be on his way back to CSKA Moscow. His recent performances in Leicester shows the striker is struggling.

Musa was a key player for CSKA Moscow before his big money move to the Kings Power Stadium. He has however failed to re-enact his form in Russia.

Sources close to the club have stated interests in bringing back the Nigerian forward if the need arises.
