Sergio Aguero Fires City To Premier League Roof

Manchester City came from a goal down to win 2-1 at hard-fighting Burnley with Sergio Aguero scoring both goals.
The Citizens have now claimed back-to-back wins for the first time since September, as they moved to the roof of the log.
Burnley draw first blood
Burnley were surprisingly the ones who took the lead. It happened when City defender Nicolas Otamendi headed a clearance straight to midfielder Dean Marney, who volleyed in from 25 yards.
Pep Guardiola’s side then struggled to connect. But that did not stop Aguero from restoring parity when he poked in a shot at the far post after a corner was deflected into his path.
City go in front
City subsequently had the game under control and took the lead when a Fernandinho’s cross hit Aguero and went in after some sloppy Burnley defending.
But Burnley refused to go down without a fight. Defender Michael Keane had a late header blocked by Aleksandar Kolarov. Another chance came for Ashley Barnes, whose overhead kick was dealt with by City keeper Claudio Bravo.
The Clarets eventually failed to prevent a third home loss in the top flight this season.
