Adamawa Police Arrest 15 in Fight Against Shila Gangsterism

Adamawa State Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, Psc (+), has expressed gratitude to the people of Adamawa State for their collaborative efforts in combating armed robbery, housebreaking, and violence perpetrated by the Radical Shilla Cult group.

CP Morris also commended the dedication of officers and men of the Command for their commitment to maintaining a conducive environment for residents.

The collective endeavors have led to significant achievements, with the recent arrest of 15 members of the Shilla Cult during the Sallah Celebrations in Yola and Jimeta metropolitans. Among those apprehended are individuals like Usman Ahmadu, Abdullahi Shuaibu, Auwal Saleh, and others, all hailing from various addresses.

The arrests were accompanied by the seizure of dangerous weapons, illicit drugs, and cellphones.

CP Morris has assured the public that thorough investigations will be conducted, and those arrested will face prosecution in due course.
