FG Declares Public Holidays
December 26 and 27, 2016 have been declared public holidays by the FG.
Reports also suggest that January 2, 2017 has been declared a public holiday too.
The Federal Government made this known in a statement signed by the acting permanent secretary of the ministry, Alhaji Muhammadu Maccido on Wednesday, December 21.
The statement called for support for the Buhari-led government as the presidency continues in its efforts to build a peaceful, and prosperous nation.
He further implored that all Christian faithful and the general public use the occasion and season to pray for the fortunes of the country.
