Simon Ekpa, a disciple of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, has declared sit-at-home in the South-East region to be observed this Monday.
Ekpa said the order is a civil disobedience towards the release of Kanu who is currently in the custody of the Department of State Services.
He tweeted, “Our monday sit at home civil disobedience continues tomorrow 25.4.2022 for the release of MNK, others. What this means is that no movement of people, goods and services from any part of Nig to Biafra territory, this alone is a referendum & will go down in history.”
His tweet comes amid condemnation from a factional IPOB about the order which they say is hurting the Sout-East economically.
