21 Killed In Renewed Southern Kaduna Violence

Twenty-one people are reported to have been killed in fresh attacks in four communities in Kaura and Jama’a local government areas of Kaduna.

The attack is suspected to be the handiwork of suspected Fulani herdsmen in the southern part of Kaduna State.

Many houses were left smouldering in flames after the attack which also saw people injured.

According to ThisDay, the President of Atakad Community Development Association, Enoch Andong, who confirmed the attacks in Ashim, Nissi and Zilan communities, said 15 people were killed while 55 houses were burnt.

The attack was reported to have taken place around 5pm on Sunday.
