2023: Don’t Collect Money From Politicians, Datti Urges Nigerians

Yusuf Datti, the running mate of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has advised Nigerians not to collect money from politicians.

According to him, when they do so, they become obligated to campaign for the politicians whom they don’t believe in.

In a tweet on Sunday, Datti praised his principal, saying Obi had come to change the narrative, adding that a better Nigeria was coming.

He wrote, “Stop collecting money from politicians, coz when you do, you are obligated to campaign for them even when you know they are the wrong person for the seat and mean no well for the country. Obi has changed this narrative and truly a better Nigeria is coming. We no dey give shishi.”
