10th Imo Assembly Marks One-Year Anniversary

Governor Hope Uzodimma has marked the first anniversary of the 10th Imo State House of Assembly (IMHA) by praising its dedication and responsiveness. Speaking on the milestone, he lauded the assembly’s efforts in gaining the trust and hope of the state’s diverse populace.

Governor Uzodimma commended Speaker Rt. Hon. Chike Olemgbe for his leadership, highlighting the House’s ability to work cohesively towards a shared vision for the state. He pointed to the numerous successful bills and motions passed over the past year as evidence of their commitment to their core legislative duties.

Despite the constitutional separation of powers, the Governor noted that the Honourable Members have maintained a collaborative relationship with the Executive. This cooperation, he said, is crucial for the state’s progress and sets a high standard for future legislators.

Uzodimma assured continued support for the House’s legislative duties and training programs, emphasizing the importance of integrity and dedication in their service to the people of Imo State.
